Conditions we address

Start with the problem affecting your day.

We assess how symptoms, movement and everyday load connect before deciding on a suitable approach.

Sciatica symptoms

Sciatica describes symptoms associated with irritation of the sciatic nerve. You may feel pain, tingling, numbness or discomfort through the lower back, buttock or leg. Because similar symptoms can have different causes, assessment matters.

Neck and shoulder issues

Long desk hours, training, stress and repeated movement can contribute to stiffness or pain. We consider the neck, shoulder blade, upper back and relevant movement patterns rather than focusing only on the most painful spot.

Migraines and headaches

Manual therapy does not treat every cause of migraine. Where muscular tension or restricted movement appears relevant, we may work around the neck, upper back or jaw while monitoring your response. New, severe or unusual headaches require medical assessment.

Sports injuries and active recovery

For strains, overuse or restricted movement, treatment may support comfort and mobility as part of a sensible return to activity plan. We do not rush recovery or promise a fixed timeline before assessment.

Back and joint discomfort

We look at how stiffness, muscular tension, daily habits and movement may be influencing the problem. Techniques are selected for the individual, not applied as a routine.

When we may refer you

Manual therapy is not suitable for every condition. If your symptoms suggest that medical investigation or another healthcare professional is more appropriate, we will advise you accordingly.

Questions people commonly ask

Are you chiropractors or physiotherapists?

Armos is positioned as a manual therapy and movement focused recovery centre. We use manual techniques and movement guidance within our team’s training and scope. We do not present every therapist as a chiropractor or physiotherapist.

Is this a massage centre?

Massage or soft tissue work may form part of a session, but the purpose is broader: assessment, targeted manual therapy, mobility work, feedback and a recovery plan suited to the concern.

Will you crack or manipulate my joints?

Not routinely. Manipulation may be considered only when appropriate and with your consent. We often use mobilisation, soft tissue work and other gentler methods.

Can one session solve the problem?

Sometimes people notice improvement after one visit, but many conditions need continued work. The expected number of sessions depends on the problem, its duration, your response and what you do between visits.
